Genesis Sober Living is a facility that provides a safe and structured environment for the newly recovering alcoholic and addict. At Genesis, the residents are given a new look on life and learn how to deal with everyday living as a sober and responsible member of society. Genesis has weekly peer meetings, and family support sessions to help family members understand their part in dealing with their loved ones. The family sessions are led by a volunteer, professionally educated in codependency, drug and alcohol recovery, and related issues. All house residents attend daily 12-step meetings, build a support group, and learn to apply the 12-step recovery program to effectively deal with their chemical dependency problems.

Residents live in a homelike atmosphere, with three home cooked meals a day provided by the house and recreational activities are part of the their structured living. We are located in Cheviot Hills, a superb part of West Los Angeles. We also provide 24-hour management.
